Safari Overview


On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be picked up by your driver guide and transfer to Ahadi Lodge for dinner and overnight. 


Ahadi Lodge (Dinner)

Meet your driver at 9am, start your drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara. Enter Lake Manyara National Park for game drives of this very diverse park. If you are lucky you may see the famous tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the bush followed by game drives until mid-afternoon. Then slowly make your way out of the park and return to the camp. 


Isoitok Camp Manyara (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

After breakfast drive up the Great Rift Valley escarpment and stop at a stunning view point overlooking the lake. From here you will drive onto the town of Karatu known as the gate way to Ngorongoro. At the park gate you will have a short stop while your guide does the entry formalities. On entry to the Ngorongoro conservation area your first drive through lush forest, if the weather is clear you will stop at a view point overlooking the famous Ngorongoro crater before continuing your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the endless plains of Serengeti. Game drive en-route to central Serengeti – explore the many different areas of the park, your driver guide will advise on the best places to visit. 


Serengeti Heritage Camp (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

A full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Head over to the Rock Kopjes where you have good chances of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetah and lion use this giant rock out crops as observation posts.

After breakfast enjoy your last morning of game driving in the great Serengeti national park before heading back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Ngorongoro Crater and onto your accommodation in Karatu.


Endoro Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Early morning descend into the crater for game drives. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park. The elephants are mainly bulls, females stay out of the park due to it boasting the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make their home on the grassy plains, their numbers make up for almost half of what can still be found in East Africa; about 20 in total.


Endoro Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

After a leisurely breakfast you will then start your journey back to Arusha town, arriving in time for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge and complimentary tour of the Shanga Shanga project. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your evening/night time departing flight.
